Heard them sh**s on that first John Legend single, again on Mobb Deep's last album, and some other so-so R & B joint a month or two back. There's like one or two more obvious ones off top I ain't thinkin of right now. Besides them drums been available on Drum Crazy for years before the Strictly Breaks joint. Imma have to check the-breaks.com see if they got the original info, sorry yall, I ain't no fanatical way-back DITC record collector dude. It's like the early 90's when erybody was rockin 'Impeach the president' drums complete with UBB crackles and all, just gets kinda old after the first few..............Oh, log on to www.phatdrumloops.com if you want them Kanye drums for free! And to the cat that made it seem like it's impossible to remake Kanye the Great's amazing beat, I think there are more than a few on this forum that could pull it off lovely.

CRZ wrote:"The Corner" sounds a lot better than most of the stuff I hear on the radio these days. Is Kanye West a "backpacker"??

He is to me. I have been a backpaker since birth "81" but when I got to highschool ****** was talking about the same shit that kanye raps about, he's just saying it from different prespective, becuse all of us was talking that benz and backpack shit back in 95. He was just the 1st one to get big.

Oh alright.

Just wondering because I see him on t.v. a lot with a backpack on.

I might wear a backpack if I'm traveling on foot or by bike.

Oh yeah...

And I used to wear a backpack a lot when I was in school. :)

If you can do Kanye beats do em, but I don't think you will make the music grow up.

For Kanye West puts GREAT mc's on nice beats to the MTV machine all day long, both "party" songs, "love" songs, "conscious" songs, by the way I like what he does, this is large.

If I would got hate, and I don't get that much hate to consider it, it would go to artists like 50cent or Lil Jon, that freeze the business. Because music industry is like this, when an artist is on top, is style comes like the new "fashion". And Majors will only sign artists who are this way, putting the others on the letft side of the business. And with no money, comes the day where you die.

Now when I hear a artist that who makes music I like, like MF DOOM, or Pete Rock, I give them all my props, because they knew how to survive till the day the could make their thing coming out.

Although you cant come and say you "hate" Kanye West if you are live in the hood, to me he's just a brother who succeeded.

Then cats come to me and tell me "ok , but see he pretends to be the new Jesus Christ", well, nobody's perfect. Nobody.

I like Kayne, I respect that he can do it all (may be not the greatest) but he still puts in work. He makes beats, pretty good ones, and raps over them. As far as the guy who said Rza and Al are over him I think Rza is a sure thing, but as far as beats go Alchemist and Kayne might be on the same level, but originality prolly goes to Alchemist. The beat maker I've really come to give a lot of props to is Just Blaze, I think he outshines Kayne.

In case ya'll haven't noticed,...

Production is like the new thing that everybody is getting into these days.
They have like these little commercials on mtv and sh*t where it's Alchemist talking about what he does and how he's gotten so far.
There's also one with Just Blaze talking about how he makes beats and how he puts his kicks on one track and his snares (or claps obviously) on another, and then it's on to the pro tools. And it's just as easy as that. :)

After I saw this, I went in my room and made a hit within minutes and I was very proud of myself. :)

Sequencing children!!! Learn it well!!!

Please understand that this is a joke and please don't take it too seriously.
