I am sick of the music that is out there right now. I want to produce some hardline, true to myself hip-hop and soul and create a scene (full of real music) where I am. I have been using my Mp for cookie cutter my life is so hard so I'm gonna make a club track pop rap beats in the Nelly, 50 Cent, "Hey I touched this girls a** in the club, ain't I cool" type bullsh*t style in order to get paid... and the knuckleheads have been biting, but that type of stuff is real unfulfilling. I need all the real headz to tell me anything I need to know about this MP to get some satisfying beats out of it. F*ck the 60, the sp303, Korg, Yamaha, or anything esle anyone else might use, I only want MPC 2000/3000/4000 talk and reasonable support suppliments. I know that this is a subjective question, and I am asking for people to make assumptions about what I feel is satisfying; and, I also realize that my question places me in a sort of neophytic position, but I want this feedback to feed others... Chopping, slicing, timestreching, effects, compression, mixing, loading, pitch shifting, saving, nothing is out of bounds. Formulas, advice, miding, MTC, MMC, Reason, ProTools, talk about it all. I am not a rookie, nor am I Jay-Dee, but I keep reading these threads and want someone to try to compress most of these subjects into one, while gaining the knowledge of other professionals... like the birth of Be-Bop. Speak to me and everyone esle who reads this... or ignore it, call me names, and go about your business... but say something!
Peace
Peace
