hello...
when i got my MPC2KXL (fairly recently), a friend gave me an Alesis NanoBass sound module as he thought it might come in useful. I know what your thinking... What nice friends i have... anyways i havent got a midi keyboard just yet and it just dawned on me that maybe, just maybe, in the mean time i could run it thru my MPC and use the PADS instead of the keys on a midi keyboard. I will invest in a keyboard eventually as i have a feeling it will be more suitable and useful in more ways than one. I checked out 'Hooking up your System' in the MPC manual (pg 11) and think it might work, but i got a bit confused reading it all... im no trained musician and am riding this wave freestyle, just learning as i go along.
Basically, can anyone give me a yes/no answer (you can ellaborate a little more if you want) and if theres anyone out there who uses or has used an alesis nanobass, let me know your opinion on them?
Thanks y'all
