ok. i have been hyping this on the boards for a while, but i'm finally organized.

i have created a web page tutorial for pgm and sample sharing for the mpc. it can be reached here: http://excommence.com/mpc/programs.htm

this is NOT for sharing zoned samples. this is for sharing oneshot pgms. please read the site - i only have the best intentions.

this is not meant to compete with MPC TUTOR. samples purchased from MPC SAMPLES will not be shared. this is all custom made kits, largely created and shared by me, which will act as a foundation upon which more extensive kits will be created.

enjoy.

again the link is here: http://excommence.com/mpc/programs.htm

i will bump this a couple times, and hope that many of you take advantage of this--if not to use the kits i am providing, to see what others are doing.

peace.

Anyone seekign to take advantage of this community...be advised...

Trying to do so on 56k Dial up will make life darn near impossible for you...(And also Clog up our Band width...)

Also..check out the Room that Nym has set up in there called

Hey I just DL'd the newest version of soulseek and I was wondering if it would be ok for me to DL some of this stuff from you guys. The thing is I dont have any programs to share except 2 that were made from drums that I bougth from this site.

thanks

Oh and P.S. When i do get more sounds to create programs, you can be sure that I'll share.

kave - of course you can download without having anything to offer. just share what you have downloaded.

big toe - message me on soulseek and i'll add you to my list. sometimse there is a firewall problem. my university has a couple issues with certain people browsing me - it seems like half and half sometimes, but if you keep trying, it'll get through. i'm gonna see if i can get my firewall straightened out.

solecrab - im glad you like them. hopefully they'll start you on your way. try layering different kicks underneath the accoustic kicks in the programs i gave you! it'll really give some power to your drum patterns.

let's keep this thing alive. thanks for your interest. by the way, the chat room is called MPC SAMPLES/PGMS. you need to type it in caps exactly as written to enter the right one.

enjoy.

Yep this is definetly a great idea. Not just for trading, but a place where fellow MPC1000 users can meet up and discuss producing and whatever.

that's ok. a bunch of people are coming with nothing. i appear to be the only one with an ordered pgm folder (!!!) but i'm constantly adding more.

i have to ask that other members of this chat room take the time to make a folder specifically for PGMS rather than just dumping everything into a samples folder. keep things seperate - pgmed and nonpgmed.

i'm in the middle of class right now so i shouldn't be here. but in any case, maintain organization. you'll thank yourself later.

peace

last bump, then i'll let it die - there's been an increase in newbie population as of late.
