Sorry guys

i know that probably u answered this to someone else first but i'm seraching and gettin' this stupid error that gives me back no results..

The thing is, i have the 32mb memory and that gives me like 3minutes stereo to sample ( u know betta ) . My question is, can i sample in mono, to get 6min time to sample what i need? I mean, will it still sound good? Or not? let me know aight?
Thanks

well if you sample mono some loops etc like some soulrecord you will lose the stereoimage... i have all my drums and bass in mono but all other samples in stereo

if ya sample in mono you get more sample time.....

yeah more time..but like homy is saying watch out for the "fake stereo"

old records were not really stereo. the drums were panned to one channel and the other stuff to the other channel! if you sample only (for example) the right channel, you loose the other one (can also be used in your advantage)

what i did is:

with an Y-cable (2 rca to 1 rca mono > connector > 1 rca mono to 2 rca) from the TT to the MPC no I have both channels and still sample in mono!
