Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Can I use the same SCSI cable I'm using for my external ZIP250 drive for an external Microtech PCD40 Card Reader? If not, what kind of SCSI cable does the PCD require?

Thanks.

it should take a 50 pin female to 50 pin female cable, but I'm not sure the MPC will read the PCD-40..... definitely give it a try and let us know.

Here's what the cable will look like.

I checked midicase.com and it says there that the PCD40 external model is compatible, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm really tired of my ZIP drives breaking down every two years. I need a simple solution and this sounds like the one.

Thanks.

Man, I totally missed the External in your first post. Ignore what I posted before, that's an internal SCSI cable.

Looks like you will need a 50 pin micro female to 25 pin male.

Here's a link to the manual with more info.

Thanks twice.

Once for the information and once for not being a dick.
