What would be the best way to get my tracks on the MPC2000XL onto my computer, which has only USB?
Is it possible through cables? Or is it only possible through saving as .wav-files?

My Pc has firewire, if that would help.

You can always record into you computer usin' you soundcard.By usin' the line in or mic in you can record into some sort of software.

There's no line in except for the Mic and Headphone-in...Won't I lose a lot of soundquality going through there?

You can use one of those but it might be best to look for another soundcard.Try musiciansfriend or harmonycentral.Even ebay has some nice Delta soundcards.
