new 4000 user question

just snagged a 4000 plus. when i load my drum sounds i have to hold the pad down for the duration of the sample. instead of just hitting it once and hearing the whole sample play.

what setting am i missing it is very annoying.

and one more ?,
can i load sounds directly on the pads from a computer hooked up via the usb cable?

Shift+6.Go to assign-F2 and in the bottom right turn the note to poly or mono.It seems like you're playin' them with Note off.As for the second part of your question i'm not sure because i own the 2K.
