MPC60 users without the 3.1 OS upgrade!

it was mentioned in an old thread that with OS 2.* that you dont have the MONO mode for your samples to cut eachother off, but ive found that you can achieve this with the s950 utilizing the individual outs... what im wondering is, can you achieve the same thing as MONO mode with a 60 version 2.* using the individual outputs, as you can do with the s950? if you can, i think that is great news for 60 users with version 2.*...

are there any 60 users with OS version 2.* that are willing to try this technique and update us with your results?

id figure it out myself, but ive got the OS in my 60 upgraded to 3.1...

I doubt it, the 60 individual outs seem to output multiple sounds at once, I don't think that would change with the OS upgrade, but I could be wrong.
