getting sounds from sound cd's to your mpc

I wanted to know how to transfer sounds from a sound cd to my mpc 2000xl. I wanted to buy some sounds over the internet but I don't know what cords I'll need to do this. I have a G5 mac. Can anyone help?

use a zip drive or floppy disks

the sounds need to be wave files.. if you burn them as data files on ur cd and if you have a scsi cd drive for ur mpc the mpc should be able to read this... otherwise dump em into a zip and do it that way or just play the cd on ur computer and just sample the sounds into ur mpc...
