Dimensions of a MPC 60

What are the dimensions of an MPC 60 mk1 (legnth/width)? I always hear about people who just got their brand new 60 say they were surprised how big it was. Is it the same size as an MPC 3000 or bigger than that???

Haha, you got good memory. I got into it with one of those chump moderators, Original Blade or whatever the hell his name is. I made a comment in a post and all of a sudden he came out of nowhere tryin to clown. Of course I had to respond and then all of a sudden that chump bans me. It's funny because idiots like Osama Pig Latin and fireman x say whatever the hell they want to whoever always tryin to start somethin and all I did was try to defend myself from some punk who came out from completely left field and I get banned because he's a moderator. Those double standards kill me. Anyways I rarely go to that site anymore, about once evry couple of weeks, and post under a different name in every other forum but rap and hiphop. Mostly in the hardware sequencers. My main reason for being there was to help people and give advice based on my past experiences with different equipment and production techniques. Anyways I've asked about an MPC 60 because I've never actually physically seen one, and the first thing people always say is, it's so big. I'm thinking of just copping one just so I could check out the size and then maybe reselling it.

around 19.5in(W) x 5in(H) x 18.5in(D), weight is about 23 pounds

You would spend upwards of $1000 to just look at the size of it? Then resell it? Why not just look at a picture?

A thousand bucks for a 60? Not likely. I'm thinking around $700. And the beauty of ebay is you can always resell whatever at the exact price you got it for. Anyways I'm probably just going to cop a 4000 just to mess around with it for a little bit. I'm busy learning this new ES I just picked up last week so that won't be for a minute. Maybe If I like the 4000, I'll just sample all the Motif patches and resell it or something. I don't know. When you work for a living, a couple thou is of little importance. That's the truth.

for an upgraded 60, with SCSI, memory upgrade, and 3.10 OS $900-$1000 is pretty average for the price.

When did this happen? I'm the only jbplaya I know about and getting snippy about a couple extra dollars for shipping doesn't sound like my style at all. In fact I always ask whenever something is shipped if I should pay more just so it can be insured and I have the piece of mind that it will arrive to me in one piece.

And for doomdada, ain't no way in hell I'm diggin through trash just randomly to uncover whatever hidden gems. Haha! It's not that serious.

Like I said I'm thinking about getting one of the two later on down the line just to f*ck around with it and it will probably end up on the bay or something. That's what I do alot of times, just to see what everybody's so crazy about. So far I've done that with a 3000, 2000xl studio, 2000, 1000, ASR-10, ASR-x, MV-8000, Triton Studio, Emu MP-7, Denon DNS-5000 just to name a few off the top of my head. I do most of my music creation through Cubase and soft synths in case you're wondering. But I like trying out gear for myself instead of reading other people's opinions.

Haha. You know what, I have absolutely no idea who or what that is. Maybe you could school me. I came on futureproducers around last may and they were already talking about that sh*t like it was an inside joke and everything. Just like that Polk High. I do know what a Soladee is and hands down the worst producer on the planet was and probably still is Hot Traxx.
