Can't load wav. files from floppy.

For some reason my 2000xl is being picky about which wav files I can load off 3.5 floppy. I grabbed a couple of wav. samples of a site and my XL won't recognize them. I can see them when I load wav. but then I get a disk error message. I've tried wavs from different sites, different disk. as well as loaded wavs that were previously on the same disk from off the net.

What gives?
