the guy said they haven't got a general one yet as they are still setting up their shyt. he just gave me his own adress and can be either @akai @alesis and @numark.... i'll pester the guy so he can stir up some shit and tell them there's thousands of users on the net waiting to hammer them with suggestions...

yes it can be applied to the entire sample but not to a selection

Setting looppoints in the sequencer window (main, seq edit, step seq all the same). Is needed for programming little pieces in a sequence.
Looppoints L + R. With a function to set it on/off.
Maybe like this:
New window with option for setting point L on bar 2.2.3 (for example) and point R on 6.1.1 (for example)
And maybe let the user extract the looped midi sequence (selection, selected tracks, entire sequence) to past somewhere else.

Also add:

FORGET ABOUT DRE ... euh... THE NÉW MPC. INSTEAD THINK ABOUT THE NEW OS FOR 1000 & 4000

this would be cool in the sense of being able to copy all tracks by a certain amount of a bar and fliping it on a new track... get some cool effects like with changing time signature... this is a major feature that's missing from the 4000

yes but also when you work with just 1 sequencee beein 200 bars long, the loopoints might be handy

Hey that would be cool...Independent loop/start-end points per sequence..you could get pretty intricate.
