Check the avatar for my studio. MPC60, s950 with the disks and 45s on it, and a Mackie, the Digi001 is to the left somewhere, thats about it right now, 2000XL is in the closet. =)

No what I meant by that statement [I'm late on this reply, from taking a break from this board] was that I've seen pictures, not just on here, but other places of full on studios just in peoples houses with gear everywhere that to me seems useless when I can make the exact same thing with only a few pieces of equipment.
I'm not being a hater, or knocking anyones approach to making music. I just don't have the money to buy high end equipment, and don't know enough about it to get that far into it. So I just stay simple.
I think where audio recording/production is going and has been going is great. upgrade to whatever you want. Use a computer, filters, whatever. I'm not knocking anyone who has a bunch of gear, I just like to use what I have, and sometimes you're more creative if you're limited to what you use.

Yah, it's a tight squeeze. I didn't want it right in front of my window even though I cover everything up when I'm not using it.

how do you like that Pod 6?

I only use the Pod for guitar and bass, I haven't tried running the table or anything else through it, for effects I just use plugins. It's allright for some guitar parts but the distortions are kind of fake sounding.[/quote]

how do you like what it does for your bass?

On bass the Pod is pretty cool, with some tweaking I made some cool thick bass sounds come out, changing the knobs on my bass and messing with the amp settings on the pod you can change the whole tone to sound like a completly different bass from gritty with a little distortion to the cleanest tightest bass sound. It's a cool little effect to have but I haven't checked many other effect boxes out to compare it to. I know Line6 makes a special Bass Pod but I haven't tried that out either.

Nice set up DrumTek!! HOLY SH*T! Is that a Realistic (Radio Shack) DJ Mixer??? I haven't seen one of those in years. Is your fader bleeding yet? R you from the North suburbs of Chi? Do I ask alot of questions????? Huh???

Thanks Juke, yeah that's the old realistic mixer, my brother gave it to me around 6 years back, it's been to many party's in the early and mid 90's but everything still works perfect, meters and all, no bleeding. As for the location, I live in the southwest suburbs, J-town to be exact.
