Is it really faster? I still have 1.60 and Im afraid I will make mutlis in 1.7 and later be forced to go back to 1.6 and not be able to use the multis I made in 1.7.

yes 1.7.1 really is faster. It goes about 200 mph, the older OS is more like 160 mph. Be aware that if you let the MPC4000 slipstream behind an MPC3000, he goes a little bit faster. He is the fastest when he's behind an MV !

Sounds good, I might have to try 1.71 out. I have an MPC3000 as well so I will see how they perform in a downhill slolom.

A read on a thread here a while ago that the MPC4000 was having problems loading the hollowsun kits, has this been corrected in 1.71? Or does this problem still exist? I cant go to 1.7 if I cant load all my hollowsun kits perfectly.

I've had absolutely no problems loading hollow sun kits and I've tried each and every single one of the kits...yes it took a long time to download all that crap...and that was with the 1.6 and 1.7 os.

Actually, now that I think about it...on that whole site there are maybe one or two kits that are gimped, but it's not the 4k's fault.

This is where I got it from.

This was in the translated readme

5. St/End point of the sample made by S5/6000 cannot be correctly loaded.

Maybe this is the fix.
