MPC2000xl or ...?

Hello to everyone Im new to the board, but not to music Ive been making beats since I was 14, now going on 21. I have been making music using just a plain midi keyboard a yamaha qy70 and fruityloops studio. But now its time for the big boy. Im planing on getting an MPC the 2 that I am considering are the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000xl studio sampler. The question is what are the benefits of having the studio sampler over the MPC2000xl? Ive searched and saw all of the extra features that the studio sampler version has but they dont really explain what those features are for just that they are there. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. So thanks in advance.

the Studio version is just the XL with all of the options installed...8 outs, fx board, Full Ram, etc. You can buy an XL and just add the boards as you see fit.

I see, Is it more cost effective just to get the studio version str8 out the gate or is it the same price to get it later? 2000xl is going for 1,299.99 studio sampler is going for 1,399.99 thanks for the quick response

The difference in the prices you just stated was $100.

If you buy all the options later it will cost way more than $100.

Do the Studio. My friend just bought the studio and there was no RAM in it.

I don't know if that is normal or not but check EVERYTHING to make sure
you don't need to buy anything in the future. Have the store jerk I mean er clerk check before you purcase.. Happy beat making.. I use to use a Yamaha RY20 midi'd to a Roland R-8 WAY back in the day.. haha
