Along with ntalec, Djames, and TicToc.

Did an exhuastive search of the forum tonight. Trying to put together a troubleshooting guide seeing as how I haven't been able to print the manual for my 60 out yet.

All I can say is: "Thank you." Cats dropping tons of knowledge. For free.

Mucho appreciated.

My knowledge weighs a ton ;)

I like helpin people, especially with 60's, it's my way of saying thanks to the 60 for being such a great machine and teaching me so much.

Thanks for the apreciation.

You're welcome.

Definately. Before I got my 60 I just searched through the 60/3000 forum and El's answers answered things for me before I even needed to ask them. That way when I got my 60 I already knew what was up.

Just addin my two cents. Elmacaco and MPC3000le have been the best. I REALLY appreciate all of the free help you guys give. Without their knowledge, I think I'd still be thumbing through my MPC manuals. Big Up's to El and MPC 3k.

butcher,

If you want a MINT MPC-60MK1 and are willing to pay $1000 or more, then go to www.analogjapan.com. You can get one there with a flight case. If I were you, I would'nt worry so much about the exterior of the machine. I mean, the thing was made almost 18 years ago, so anyone who has had it since then, I'm sure has used it. I suggest you grab one off of eBay with the OS/SCSI upgrades, then send that shyt down to Forat for a new paint job. For $1100, you could have bought mine AND got the paint job.

the thing is, the way i look at it is if its not taken care of on the outside than theres a chance it might not have been taking care of on the inside...and if im throwin money down it kidna matters to me

We should move this to the For Sale forum. This was supposed to be an appreciation thread for El and MPC 3000.

when did u buy it... also if its mint than its worth the money.. thats my opinion..especially with something as old as15 years...

It's only too much if you regret the purchase, I paid a bit for mine but I am so happy with it that the money doesn't matter, and I am not loaded.
