zip drive

i have a quick question, i have a mpc 2000xl and i want to install a zip drive, maybe 100mb. Do anyone know of the specificcations i need to be looking for when choosing to get one? I want to replace my original drive because it's not reading any of my disk. Thanks.

internal or external?

I would suggest a card reader instead of the zip. They are too unreliable and have lots of problems.
