Best thing about them is they don't discriminate, they overcharge for everything.

But honestly, where are you able to find a "new 3K old stock, with Zip & 32Mo"?
Yeah it cost the same price den when it cames out... But what retailer is going to ship everywhere? I asked dem, price include shiping & insurance... And from weh we @ in the W.I...

I know few of you guys've bought, i.e theyr 60 more den 1000$, without last OS, no Mo upgrade & SCSI, scratches on the metal n so...

yo spectre, i remember watching that 60 you got. that's a nice grab though! i think for the condition that thing is in plus the fact that it's fully upgraded, you got a decent deal. no regrets, man!

but that's crazy how that redgreenz dude was sellin' one for $700?! ridick!!!

mine @ $800 w/ 3.10 OS and full memory is a little beat up but i'm glad i bought it. it's got a couple dings where it looked like it was dropped and somebody fixed it and punched the dings back out (on the top corners). the unit overall is a little dirty but that's my steez!

BTW, i noticed your power cord is the 3-prong kind. mine is only 2-prong. anyone know why they're different?

Did an exhuastive search of the forum tonight. Trying to put together a troubleshooting guide seeing as how I haven't been able to print the manual for my 60 out yet.

All I can say is: "Thank you." Cats dropping tons of knowledge. For free.

Mucho appreciated.

Damn!!! I saw my name and got worried. "Damn. What did I say now."
But thanks Perpetual. I receive as much and as often as I give. There are a lot of folks here who know their stuff. I consider myself a student. Hell. Next week, you may be helping me.

I guess it's in my blood though. I'm an ex-teacher and currently a librarian....although I'm about to roll up outta that soon.

Again thanks and peace to all.

Make sure you steal all the old synth books and some vinyl from the 'brary!!

Believe it or not, I don't have to boost.
Here in Philly, we have this law about old library books, records, CDs and other materials. They have to offer it free to City agencies and then for $0.25 for everyday people. So, I have gotten about 100 lps, 20 cassettes, a couple books and I have also borrowed enough Jazz CDs to help my iTunes collection grow.

Check your local library. They may be on the same thang.

Peace.

Hmm... you really are on to something.

But get them old synthbooks, they have great ones on weird modular patches from back in the day, doing weird feedback into preamps and env followers, they really opened my eyes to using modules in ways not forseen before.

yo - this is my first post in 60 land and i dont tell ya how nervours i am atm ... i am a 4k user and followed this forum (60/3000) very often. the amount of helpful posts in here is imo amazin and the knowledge that some cats share simply unvaluable. so - keep this place as great as it is. and many thanx to el, ntalec, homer and all the others from a 4k user ... and yo - dont forget to pass by in 4k land once a while - we surely need some help and wisdom from y'all - fellow 60 headz ... enfjoy the 60 and peace y'all
