is it possible to assign another pad for a track?

lets say i programmed and ill complicated kick pattern on track one which is programmed using pad A13...

now i want to layer that pattern with another kick but on a different track... i already know that i have copy that track one to track.... rename track two....

so now... track is playing the exact kick drum pattern as track one.... on track two.... HOW DO I REPLACE THE PAD A13... with something like PAD A14...which as a softer kick drum....

Transpose that track. First convert that track to a MIDI track, then hit STEP and select TRANSPOSE in the top left. Transpose the entire track up or down depending on what note you want to change. Then set back to DRUM. Remember that transpose works on the MIDI number, so PADA13 is NOTE 49 - so if you transposed down 1 step, your softer kick would need to be on note 48, which is pad A9.

You could always make another program say drum 2 and name it to make it easier to tell the kits apart. Being that your gonna want to keep the kit set up the same as before to maintain that original drum line. At least that's how I'd do it , I don't use that step method.
