hold erase while booting up, let go when **MB INSTALLED screen pops up. then go to mode, load, from internal mem, off. turn machine off then back on.

Dude, just hook it up USB-style to your computer and go to "my computer"...then the F:/ Drive and just highlight everything and delete it.

Wait, do you mean this stuff automatically loads, and that's why you don't have any sample room?
You don't have any sample room, I'd bet, because you don't have any RAM installed. It doesn't matter what you have on the card. You can have a 1Gig card and your MPC will still only be able to load 16 mb worth because the MPC doesn't have that much internal memory.

Or maybe I got your question wrong. Either way, just check the manual, man. Check the manual.

Pop down 20 bucks for a new flash card. There are no internal kits in the 1000. It's all on that crap 32 mb flash card that came with it.

there are kits in the internal mem. you just have your autoload function off. and thats all homeboy has to do to acheive his goal. you can't erase those kits, you can only disable the autoload function.

correct. you can, however, save over those internal samples and programs with your own. I put my favorites kicks, snares, hats, subs, ect. in there. There's not much room (only 2mbs) but you can make 2mbs go a long way in mpc land 8)

actually i managed to erace all of my internal ram by tricking my mpc. i loaded all of its internal memory. eraced 1 sample per kit in the trim menu and saved to the internal memory.now what the mpc does is it eraces all old saves before it saves a new one so i waited until it reached 100% in its erasing screen then turned it off. turned it back on and there u have it it eraced its own memory. ready to go at full service.
