When i hook up my scsi cd drive to my mpc, when i try and load the samples it says 'scsi conflict on id#6 !'. any one had this? is it cos its a copied sample cd? the format is wav so i think the mpc can read that but its not havin it.
make sure the SCSI id on your CD rom is not set to ID #6. This is the id of the MPC, therefor the conflict. Set it to 5, or something other than 6 and it should work.
