WANK ! WANK ! Kanye sampled "The Corner" From ( Zion i )

nah...see...Kanye is a bit of an ALC biter. Alchemist used the same sample that's in The Corner for Live At The Ampitheatre from The Insomnia "mixtape."

ALC came out with this track over a year ago, and he still did a way better job with the sample than Kanye.

This ain't a "I hate Kanye post," cause I really like Kanye's music. But I don't think this is the 1st time he bit ALC either.

ALL producers take from each other. No one can say they didn't take from or weren't influenced by another producer. Thats part of the game. And ALC version is a straight loop. Kanye's is NOT.

That's very true...especially in the broadest of terms...artists are influenced by other artists, but at the same time it has been noted that on other beats that Kanye was using the same samples after ALC ripped em. So it's more or less stating facts.

As far as biting....that was once a big no no in Hip Hop and it was a good thing that it was because it made cats wanna come completely original to get their props.

And besides....Kanye's was just a lil chop over a straight drum loop, and it doesn't even quite match. When I first heard The Corner I thought it was kinda lame because I heard the sample used in a much doper track.

If you listen to the whole track not just length of sample usage...ALC did A LOT more in that beat to make it what it is. ALC's beat had a lot more finesse to it, it was even better on a technical level, and was overall doper, but that's just my opinion.

Alc's joint is way hotter.He did do alot more with the sample than Kanye.I think Kanye is a little overrated but hey,to each his own.

Remember that alc quote where Kanye asked him how he did his drums and alc said "you're Kanye West, you don't need to know how I do my drums"

Maybe if they left his jaw wired shut he wouldn't bite so hard.

It's ALL opinions fam... I just have that same record and all ALC did was take different parts of the original song and place them in parts of that track. Now "Keep It Thoro", he did some work with that sample. I have that too and it definitely is copped up unlike this track. Althou I'm NOT really feeling Kanye's sh!t too much but he's getting it in...

It's just been brought to my attention that ALC did not in fact produce Live At The Amphitheatre even though it's on his album. It was produced by SEBB. I'm looking at the CD now.

Hmm wouldn't have known...it's ALC's style through and through.
