Sorry, for the topic, its on Russian.

Look my friends, i'm asking for help from you...
I'm planning to buy 2000XL or 4000, its all depends on differences of AD/DA convertors... is it fo'real true that 4000 got different ones and the sound is really like you put it in there? coz 2000 making something wicked with sound, and no battles with it, i guess you all know what i'm talking about. And another thing is that, i found guy who's selling 4000 and he got the grey or white one, by one word not, blue. And its one year old, i'm wondering, there will be no differences at all between new mpc's and 1 y.old 4000? T H A N K S A - L O T

I'm from Russia and i'm buying from hands coz i need it on this holidays, and no one can transfer it for me to RUSSIA
Russian distributors was sucking 1 year, and didn't have anything avaible, and now they are not DISTR. at all... damnich

that smooth silky sound after recording from vinyl is insane on the mpc4000. you've got phono inputs on the mpc 4000 and a ground and you can record it straight in 24 bit 96k... you can't beat it honestly...

plus you can monitor your vinyl while your beat is playing........."sampling while sequencing"

basically you can lay some cuts over your beat and test out samples while the beat is playing, then sample it without stopping the sequence.

the filters are nice too, you can really use them to cut out vinyl crackle if you want a clean sound.

Thanks you'all, i've decided to take 4000, i was only wondering about quality of convertors, not even about quality, i would say about specific sound reconstruction, or whatever... so now i'm think, what to take... new 4000 or old one... the problem is that i can't even find where to buy new, near Moscow... damn... and the old one would cost to me like new!!! with delivering... 4000$$$$ piace of sheet, damnich... what to do, i don't know

i personally like the way the older one looks (the white one).....its the one i got.

just be sure you pay the right price for the features. There are differant models.

The mpc4000le has no hard drive or cd drive (although you can install them yourself)

there is the mpc4000plus, a, d, studio ?

im not sure of the features but check out ONLINE RETAILERS first for the differant models...........just so you dont get scammed.

there are also some online retailers that should ship to you, im from usa so i have not a clue, but i remember someone else asking. Maybe start a new post asking for retailers in your area!

peace
