would this be a good mixer for a newbie like myself? also, i should be able to use a microkorg with my 60, right? no compatibility issues i need to be aware of or anything?

thanks in advance.

one more thing. what about this mixer:

Tascam tmd1000 w iftad, 16 channel digital mixer with tdif-adat interface

it's a little higher price than the other mixer but i don't know if it's more than what i need. i'm not sure if i should go the analog route or digital route for recording songs. which is more expensive in the long run?

thanks, elmac. can i use it with a computer to record songs? like send the output from the mixer into the soundcard on my PC and use acid to record?

what's a good soundcard to buy? thanks in advance (as always!).

would a microkorg + the behringer for $340 be a decent deal?
