S950 question: multitimbral?

I just got a S950 and been sampling into it and made my first drum program and a program of sampled guitar and bass notes. Now I can't figure out for the life of me how to get it to play two programs at once. I figure there's gotta be some S950 pros on this board.

As far as I know... you cannot play two programs at once. Samplers like S2000 have multiprogram layout... An option is to spread all the notes in to sections bass guitar... I hope this help.

DO NOT MAKE MORE THAN 1 PROGRAM PER SONG! That is the rule. You want to create sample banks (programs) by labeling each keyboard note (ie. C1,C#1,D1,D#1,E1,F1,F#1) as corresponding pad number on the MPC-60. Anyhow. What you want to do basically is create the first batch of samples or notes to correspond with pads 1-8 in bank A on the MPC-60 and then lets say your second batch of samples or pads 9-16 on bank A would control your Guitar samples. Then you want to go to the next available bank or Bank B on the MPC-60 and then continue with your Bass Note samples as necessary. You can either do single or do a range of notes. Basically you want your Lo and Hi notes to either be set to one pad or a range of pads on the MPC-60?

I think I got it. So I can save drum sounds and maybe bass notes as a program and use that as a template to create other programs with samples on the rest of the pads. Less than ideal but I'll pretend it's 1989 and deal with it.
