OS 1.71 doesnt update correctly??

sometimes, when i go from song into sequence page and it says that im in seq X, when i do something on that main page, the sequence changes into seq y..
Same when i go into song page (tho this is not only a few times, but all the f*cking time), it says that im on sequence X and when i turn the wheel, im on another seq. not that im on another seq by turning the wheel, the cursor just jumps to another seq and then i have to turn the jogger one more time to actually go to another seq.. a bit strange :roll:

does someone have the same troubles with OS 1.71 ? Its very annoying as i sometimes changes something i dont want to be changed.

This is really an annoying bug that can have you mess up your sequences real quick. So I went back to OS 1.7 :!: I hope Akai get this fixed soon.

Whatever happened to that major update with the "remix" feature anyhow? Is it still planned or what?

I'm glad I came in here and saw that cats are havin' probs(not that I'm glad ya'll are havin' them, but glad I checked first).
I was just about ask if anybody in here loaded and had any probs with 1.71.

MAN i love my mp but right now ROLAND is making akai look like there new to the all in one machine.how in the world are you gonna make an update to fix bugs with a bug in it itself? that's bugged !

Yesterday my mpc 'stopped' while I was browsing through the sounds, just like Ikke described. I'm *definitely* going back to v1.70.

They did fine, but when Numark took over they let a lot of people go, and changed procedures. This v1.71 was not beta tested (that is, I wasn't asked, and I guess the other beta testers weren't either), and I think that's why this version is so shaky.

This morning I sent an email to the R&D Operations Director of AkaiPro, reporting about v1.71, and asked him where I can do my reports now. Let's see if that helped.
