sampling large amounts of drums in the MP

I want to sample about 1000 different drum sounds into the MPC and store them on a zip disk. Has anyone done this? Has anyone figured out a good way to organize the sounds? I want to just load up and have everything on their for me to access. Is there a memory restriction? Thanks! Peace!

you can only have 256 in memory at once. 4 programs @ 16x4 sounds per program. get a got pgm editor like mpc editor. and do up a few aps files to load up from a cd or something. 16pads for bashin, 32mg of freak the fuk out.
