reason and nuendo/cubase

does anyone use this setup? I wanted to know how to record the reason rewired channels. I can track all of reason independantly into nuendo with no problem but when it comes to recording those channels i get stuck. it's not my audio interface because like i said i can track everything. i've been using reason since 1.0 so i know how to use reason. with nuendo, i can record everything else. i can even track and record from my mpc. i am just having problems with the rewired channels.
if anyone is using cubase, the commands are the same for nuendo

i am using a pc not a mac

I use this combo. If I am reading your question right export all reason tracks seperatly to Nuendo
1. Lable a new sub folder reason tracks in your nuendo song file.
2. Solo the rewire channel.
3. While Reason is open solo each track one at a time to be exported.
4. In the Nuendo file menu choose the export audio function saving the soloed reason track into your new reason track sub folder.
5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 for each channel.
6. Now You can just select import audio in the nuendo file and select al function to paste to new track.
7. That is it you can now mix the audio tracks.
There may be an easier way I just haven't tride but you got me thinking.

that just seems like a hassle to do because i know in protools i can bring in the rewired channels on an aux track and then route it to an audio track to be recorded. i can't seem to be able to do that with nuendo. In pro tools, i don't have to import audio because it streams to the audio track straight from the aux track.

Just out of my head:
In Nuendo make a stereo audio track and some mono tracks. Open Reason and route your devices into the hardware interface at the top. 1+2 is main stereo. Remaining 62 channels are mono.
Ok so now click "alt" + "tab" to go back to Nuendo ( ). Then select the correct Reason outputs as inputs on the audio channels in Nuendo. Record enable every track, hit "Record" on the transportbar. Then hit "play" and now it should record all the devices wich are routed seperetaly in the hardware interface in Reason

What you really need to do is to hit the darn F1 key when in Nuendo and Reason and hit "ctrl" + "f" and then type "rewire" in the command line

Or travel to KVR/VST, Reasonstation, Nuendo forums, etc etc... Maybe do a little Google? type sumthing like reason+nuendo+rewire

Thank you. but what's bothering me is what you just mentioned, i already did. there is no way for me to route the reason channels directly to an audio channel. i have to create busses but when i route the bus out to the in of an audio channel, nothing is recorded. this all seems so simple (in theory) but in practice, i am having alot of problems. i've done this on Pro tools with no problem, just by creating aux tracks and routing reason's rewired channels to the aux tracks then route the aux tracks to the audio tracks. The thing is i don't have pro tools at home and i don't want to spend the money on it when i already have nuendo.

i've read the nuendo manual several times pertaining to busses, rewire, routing. i've also asked this question on the nuendo forums and no one can answer my question and by me reading the manual, i've also used the F1 -help function in nuendo.

should work in nuendo too. no need for pro tools
