Expansion Analogue outs discontinued?

In the mpc4000 you can fit all of the boards.

On the z4/z8 you can only fit one.

I only have the 8-Analog Output board as of now. Maybe down the line somewhere, i'll get the ADAT expansion. I couldn't tell ya if you could mix output assignments - that would really be cool if possible. I was just re-stating what i read in the installation manual, in my previous post. It says you can't have both boards installed and maybe it's referring to what Lord Toranaga's saying...you can't have both expansions on the Z4/Z8. The manual is written for all the machines.

I'm just curious, what are some of the possibilties of the analog expansion board that you guys look forward to using? I was thinking about getting it just so I can send samples to separate channels on my mixer so I can tweek them separately. What other creative things can you do with this expansion board?
