Need help with a bass multisample (sound really low)

hey
a friend of mine just gave me this bass multisample

and when I load it and play it in the 4000 it is very very low

I guess it's something related to the program but I can't see what
the samples in themselves are at a good sound level because when i play them from the "Sample List" menu they are at a perfectly normal level

but somehow, when played from the program everything is very low

can someone donwload this bass multisample (this is a small 3.8MB zip file that you have to unzip and then transfer to the 4000 via Aksys or a disk) and try to see what's wrong with this multisample ?

Problem solved!


The filter type on that program is set to 2-Pole LP. If you turn it off then you'll get the full volume of the samples.

yeah the 2 pole Filter cutoff frequency is set to a value of 13 that's why it cut almost everything off, I gotta set it to 100 or OFF

We need to find some kind of server first so we can upload our programs. The auditorium seems like a good place but their server is rather small and slow ( so they say.. ) so another alternative would be nice

its for uploading tracks but you can upload any file u want. but they wont allow massive uploads
u cant even ( tho i do ) make a direct link on another webpage to your track on theauditorium
they have a rather compact server

i wonder if that multisample can be used in the mv 8000, i will try it

men maze, we go through this all the time, i will buy an mpc 4000 though when i start sellin beats for $20000 per track, but as long as they only goin for 200 i will stick to the mv

i doubt it will work the other way around though i will try it out in a muniet and let you know but you can got to mvnation.com and download some free patches to try it out
