scsi does not work

I connected and external scsi 100 mb zip drive to my mpc. But when I boot up, all I get is a detecting memory and a wait message and it stays there indefinitely. Any thoughts?

Is termination on your zipdrive turned on ?

Also check your connections and that you do indeed have a scsi and not parallel drive/cable.
