so i have a whole sample and i wanna delete an highlighted are but i want the extremes of the sample(ie the part not highlighted to still be intact is there a way to do that>??

cuz when you to edit in trim it says extract(only extracts the highligted) and discard.. but discard on the other hand gets rid of the parts not highlighted

i hope question was confusing.,.. basically i want the reverse of discard  8)

the only way to do that is to highlight the unhighlighted and extract those.. itll take a lil longer since u gotta do it twice.. but if thats what you want, thats how u gonna get it.

yeah, i was looking for that too... I had a little pop from the record and I wanted to just delete that. You cant. I think Akai should add that in... a delete option into the trim page. But I am usually doing tons of chopping, so Ill just extract everything before and after that piece you dont want. Anyone figured out any other ways?
