ive been making beats for a while now and am looking to upgrade a lil bit. i have at my house a computer, midi keybaord (usb) and reason, anmd cubase sx. im doing an internship at a local studio, and ive been playing around on their mpc, and i really like it.

my funds are extreemely limited. is it worth it to buy an mpc new, even if it will take me a few months to get enough moeny? or should i just buy one off ebay?

i have an old technics turntable (single) that i have been using hooked into my soundcard for sampling purposes. how could i hook that up to my mpc?

thanks

Which MPC do they have at the studio?

New 1k prices are comparable to used 2kxl prices.

I think you'll need a phono pre-amp to connect a turntable. Double check. I haven't tried it yet as I haven't had mine long. Sequencing drum sounds and external MIDI gear is keeping me busy enough let alone digging into the crates :)
