Usb Hard drive

Can I use any usb hard drive like Maxtor or something? Or are there only certain ones that work with the 4000?

almost any usb drive will work. I suggest one that is made for laptops, beacause they will run on the power from the usb cable. pretty cheap too

I bought an 80 gig compusa brand drive that works fine. it was the cheapest one they had.

Was it a laptop drive or regular?

it's just the regular drive. I have to plug it into the wall for power.
