I prepared about 150mb worth of one shots, loops and other samples on my computer. When I put them on my Mpc it ads some sort of artifac at the end of only some of the files.(usually a TSHHHH) Does any one know what I might be doing wrong? When I look at the original iles on the computer in the wave editor they look all good.

I use Adobe Audition for cutting loops etc. It has an option in the save menu "save extra non-audio information" or something like that. Uncheck that option (or its equivalent) in your software.

It must be something else the files are good on the computer I have the feeling it could be my cf card

try turning the loop off, If you have it on and its not correctly looped you will have that sound at the end.

it's virtually impossible for your CF card to add that at the end of your samples. the CF card is just a storage medium, nothing more. I can't see that happening. it could be the way you have your files setup (ie. 16bit or not, etc...) or it could be exactly what bhunt said.

I have this same problem.
The problem is ESP. bad if i try to write more than one item at a time (ie. I drag 3 different folders to the CF card at once).

I have erased and rewritten some items with varied results of success. Yes, I swear the SAME folder with the SAME wan files written to my CF card on different occasions has produced different results.
