st point 2205

every time i sample the start point is 2205? can't find anything in the manual about it, anyone else notice this or is somethin wrong with my 1k?

while you are in record mode the mpc keeps a little bit of audio in a buffer. those first 2205 samples are what was hanging out in the buffer before you hit record.

at least i think that's what is going on

u are right, this is to make sure u catch what u missed just before u press sample, like pre record buffer thingy!

anyway it good for when u have it set to start when the threshold has been overcome. rather than playing then press record u can prime it.
