If you find yourself filling your hard drive portable or internal MPC 4k a few tips to save you headaches.

1) Backup your data to a separate medium DVD, CD, Computer or another HD cuz the day will come when your drive will go kaboom and you are in a world of hurt.

2)Use your home computers utility system to once a month clean your drive being that the 4k is connected by usb you got the best of both worlds.

3) Clean house once a year at least use only the sounds that you idenitfied as your sound rather than load up your hds with sounds you will have long forgetten and may eventually become corrupted.

4)If you can use midi and a sound module all in two units, neat and clean.

5) At least use your knowledge and experience of working with computers and hd they are pretty much the same don`t get tender feet over new gear it`s the user. :D

Smart thinking better to be scared and careful then to lose everything on a fluke drive. :D
