Yep ...... I don't understand why anyone would buy a sampler & then impose all these restrictions on how they use it. It is like giving yourself excuses for never actually finishing a track .... or even starting one.

Some of you are straight comedians. No reissues? I guarantee most of you have reissues and don't even no it. I know DJs that have been spinning for 20 years and can't tell the difference sometimes.

Have you ever heard a beat and thought, "that beat would've been better had he not sampled from a compilation" or "I'm not feeling that beat. It sounds like a reissue to me"? GTFOOHWTBS!!!

No CDs or MP3s? As if it takes more skill to sample from vinyl... The majority of the work is done after you've recorded the sample. The skill is in the chopping, filtering, programming & arrangement. Unless you're choppin' those breaks in real time, directly to tape, I'm not impressed that you used vinyl.

Stop worrying about how the music is made. Just make sure it's hot!

i really dont understand why people are on this whole "dont sample reissues" thing. i mean if you're a collector, sure, I can see why you would want an original in good condition over a sealed reissue. oh yeah and why did i know what GTFOOHWTBS meant?? haha i was buggin out, just came to me as i read the letters

the only shit i wont do is sample another hip hop producers track. everything else is open game. Mp3's, reissues, comps, sample cds. I dont give a fu**. but i wont sample like primos drums and like madlibs melodies. That shit is gay.
