customizing your MPC / paintjob

i'm about to ~customize my mpc 2kXL and i wanna know if anybody who did it painted the buttons or got new ones? the buttons are made of plastic. doesn't the colors come out when u press it like a 1000 times (like it´s supposed to) ?

I painted mine all black, you can order an extra set from vstservice.com for about 125 bucks(thats for every button on the MPC).

I went over the black with about 3 or 4 coats of clear so the paint hasn't started to wear yet, I painted it about 8 months ago. The key to a good paint job is patience, wait for one coat to dry before moving on to the next coat.

well,
(i guess) u don´t need to ask him cuz if u have a car shop with custom parts near you, where people take their cars to have'em painted and all gadgets added (like Xzibit's pimp my ride u know)

ask them to paint u'r mpc. they do it with cars, the mpc is metal too.

now, about the buttons, u can buy a set for more than 100$ or u save te pad and just paint the buttons, but make shure that the new color fits the pad's color.

i made my own drawings and this designer is workin on it, but as soon as possible i´ll post some pics..

umm why should someone use forats services because you can paint it yourself... and you will also get it cheaper that way...

somebody has a wood grain mpc 2000xl i think it's cee lo can anybody confirm?
