i found a gold mine of a JOINT ova day in the chi area...

i think its on some LAST day sale before it closes this week forEVER!!

but this place got mad records.....i'm talkin mad records...

all a $0.25 a pop...

wud yall suggest I go do bout coppin gems?

me i jus really check out the cover n go that way....if the cover looks ill or semi ill, booms its mine... ova wise i loook for childrens ish i don't know why but i think it might got some crazy like that i could one day use?

anyway i got like $2.89 that i can drop on records..so at $0.25 a pop thats like 8 of them...

well, im jive new to sampling so i dont know much about how to choose a good album. to be honest, i like to buy a lot of old soul and jazz albums for their instruments....but i basically just pick something out that looks good and hope it was worth it.

you need some more money holmes, you could just ask him what he's gonna do once it's closed, if someone is buying the collection and for how much, you might be able to get some friends together (maybe cats on this board in your area) and just buy up that shyt wholesale.

With a sale like that, you have to come up with more dough. If not, you'll hate yourself for all the records you left behind.

If $2.89 is all you have, then I suggest going with a better plan than just looking at the covers. You can't afford to buy any duds. Maybe make a list of artists & their best records and stick to those.

Dude sell something quick, like your toaster or something, think crackhead, just get that loot quick and buy that shyt out. You could probably make a bunch of the money back if not a profit by selling the joints you don't want on ebay.

dood, u got almost 3 bux... u said u can get 8 records for that... just go and get 8 records... look for whatever jumps out at you, or looks familiar or just go with gut instinct.... as long as u dont get no herb alpert or wack country ish.... u should b strait.... if ur usin the wax 4 samplin, then it dont realy matter cuz u could prolly use anything on any of those records there... and plus at 8 for 3 bux, its not a huge loss.... for real, just gaffle 'em if u can.... SHlT

i was able to hustle $20 together..dont' ask....

here's where it gets ugly.... but instead of buyin vinyl......... i copped some 1/4 to rca cables.. he was sellin em $13 for 5ft.. got him to give me 2 for $20... i, mYSELF think i got a steal.... GC cops em out at $14.99 spent mad minutes arguein wit them bout workin a deal wit a no go...

had st-224 for 3 months now n NEVER sampled anything until last night..so really it was worth n they were needed...TRUST...

yo here' wud i think is a "trick" question for yall.. i have a turntable hooked up to my reciever....then i have the sampler hooked up to the reciever..so i can "sample/record" onto the sampler when i simply play the record on the turntable..but i been usin headphones wit the sampler..is there a way to get the sound out of the reciever aka so i can listen thru the speakers and not jus the headphones... ??

or wit all that in my this is the better question.. HOW yall do it?
