Sick of trying to use Ebay in order to find vinyl prices... Its really wierd
when the same album sells for anywhere from 1 dollar to 100 dollars..

anyways

Anyone have a good resource..

Ebay is the best. Are you looking to start selling or just making sure you're not getting ripped off? This market is a lot more fluid than baseball cards or something similar, because there are regional crazes, fads and so on. Something is only worth what you'll pay for it.

True,
just looking to get rid of a bunch of vinyl I picked up today, not a fan of much of it, but I always like to jump on deals..

Basically a crap load of grateful dead and allman brothers stuff..
Maybe I will sell them as bundles, anyways just looking to get at least 48
bucks back... Thats what I spent for all the vinyl today...

And earlier, I was looking all over ebay, and I was so excited.. But honeslty, when there are two sources for one vinyl, whose going
to buy the overpriced one...

Ahhh

thanks
for the help...

there are vinly price guide books you can buy. Prolly on Amazon. The dude who owns my local record shop has got one....and its a kunt coz it means he always charges the going rate and its hard to get any proppa bargains.

yes. ..... that is the trouble when lists get printed in books like that. People use them to sell music they don't know about. They don't know why the record has been given that value so they won't know if it changes because of recent re-issues or comps. Plus they often get things wrong. Here in the UK they often put the price they see listed for a rare US record on a far less rare European issue.
