Weak azz parts on mpc4k

Is anyone elses usb port in the front seem kind of week? I mean, when i plug in my usb cord its a little wigglely. SO far i have not encountered any problems with loosing saved data or nothing, but i was just wondering

What about anyones Contrast Knob? It wiggles alot too.

All this scares me cause i dont wanna have to get it fixed in the future!

I third that! I thought I was going to punch a hole right through my 4000, just to make sure the USB was connected.

this makes me sad.

I mean, it works, but little things like that just bug me. If i accidentally wack it, who knows how much i will damage it!

maybe it can be fixed by swopping the usb port? some technicians inhere who can confirm this?

i cant place my mpc to the back cause i have a huge 23 inch monitor sitting behind it. So the usb cable sticks out of my table now, ready to be wacked
Im going to fix it with some more paper so the cable is jammed and cant be moved.
Its a pain in the *rsszz when I hit the port while Im reading from usb sticks or while Im typing with the qwerty board.. aaaarrrgh

Seems like you guy's are spending an awful lot of time, complaining about somthing that has not broken.


There are cheap plastic parts on my car that have never broken, and it's almost 20 years old

It is decent. I have owned my mpc4000 for two years, and my usb port, and the contrast knob have not broken. What more can you expect?

I just think if they where gonna put a shitty knob on, they should have skipped it and just made a softkey command, like shift f1.....turn the jog wheel. Or something. Just another thing to break.

Im not worrying about it, but i have already wacked my elbow on the usb plug. Accidents happen, and i dont have the cash to fix shit...........I take good care of my shit.
