8 Outs for sale?

Do any of yall know where i might find an 8 out expansion board for the 2000xl? Seems that nobody has em these days.

They have it here, but on back order...until 11/20/03 and its 219.00..ouch.
I want one too...:), maybe it'll drop in price once they release baby huey...MPC1000.

I DON'T KNOW IF YOU HAVE A STORE CALLED GUITAR CENTER IN YOUR AREA BUT THEY NORMALLY HAVE EVERYTHING IF THEY DON'T, THEY'LL ORDER IT FROM ANOTHER STORE .

i mean, ive been checkin these spots for a while, but the problem is with the distribution. if you notice everybody says their expectin them on 11/20. however thats also what they said about them bieng there on 9/11 and they werent. i was hopin that somebody knew a more lo-key spot besides musiciansfriend, guitarcenter, americanmusical, zzsounds etc. seems theyre all waitin on the same magical shipment.

if its a lot of places that are telling you its on back order
AKAI (the 8 out manfucature) running low on supply
at their main warehouse

when you call musicianfriends.com ask them if they
had any returns items (somebody may have bought one
and decided not to use it)

i got my zip drive from them on a return and it was out of stock otherwise
