recording a sequence

Hey All-

I have a 2000xl and I want to know if I can record the sequence from "sonar" into the MPC and then use the MPC as the master to control the fantom xr? Right now the setup is Sonar-fantom xr. I am going to the studio soon and I want to basically transfer the sequence out of my computer to my MPC and make the MPC the master so I can have smpte drive the MPC in the studio. Hopefully this can be done and if so HOW?

save the sequence as a MIDI file. to your ZIP, CF, Floppy etc.

Load the MIDI file into your MPC then adjust the MIDI DEVICES appropiately to the sounds u want on the FANTOM, this is assuming you know how to MIDI your MPC to FANTOM properly.
