configurable nyquist input filtering? Whoa, can you explain what that is please? I know what the nyquist Freq is, but it sounds like a fancy way of saying variable sample rate, but it sounds like there is more to it.

What i should have written is "configurable input filtering based on the Nyquist theory."

Basically on the mirage, you can set the sampler resolution and the input filtering SEPERATELY. Thus, where most samplers automatically adjust the input filter based on the selected sample frequency, on the mirage, you set it yourself allowing for the user to make the "wrong" adjustments (and achieving some wicked aliasing). I like the mirage. Only problem is the 2 character LED... that and all the commands for controlling the OS are in HEXIDECIMAL :(

Oh man that's a sick feature. Yeah the hex thing ruins it for me, but damn that's an ill feature.

Is it just lowpass input filtering? I love crazy aliasing, feeding it all HF material must be so fly.

ahhhh but have you ever experimented with the sp-12 turbo> I used to pitch samples up even higher on my computer and sample them into my sp-12 turbo just for fun......you haven't even heard the grit yet.....i'm talking pitching down everything at -8.....it was a straight up grit orgy.
