Startup with the last Partition saved????

Every single time I shut my 60 off after saving to a newer partition it refuses to start up at the last one saved.....it still goes back to A and I then have to figure out (yes I do write it down....just in case it was a long night though) where I left off.

Anybody know of a way to start up the mpc-60 off of the last partition letter you were working in?

I'm referencing the Zip disk if you haven't already figured that out....

If you're running OS 3.10 on your 60, it looks for STARUP.APS and STARTUP.ALL , and it looks for these files on partition A only.

Nah dude, that's how it works, always go to partition A, then you select disk to where you want to go.

Is it really that hard? I just fill them up and move to the next as I go.

nah not that hard....its just that when i'm recording an entire album i put each beat on a seperate disk partition....keeps things organized.

I finally decided that i'm gonna go through all my drum breaks this summer and chop the shit outta everything I like and never ever have to go through the tedious process each time i'm ready to start a beat. As i'm doing now.....what a waste of time......donno why i work so ineffeciently?

So you chop the same breaks over again each time you make a beat?
