How do I convert my sequences files to wav files on the comp

I have about 3 beats completes on my MPC, and I have no idea how to convert them onto the computer and burn them onto a CD, or even but them into a wav file to email. Do I need a specific music program that automatically converts them or what? Any suggestions would be good. Also, I have a midi keyboard as one of my tracks on some of my beats, but it olny plays through the keyboard, for some reason i cant the sound to assisng to the pad, do I need something other than midi cable to connect ot the MPC and keyboard?

oh well.

1. select mode then record.... turn the time up some and the record source as MAIN OUT. then press record then PLAY on the MPC it will record as WAV. save and label the WAV on your CF CARD. then load on your PC for further editing etc. (You can use Sound Forge...etc for this)

2. with regards to the keyboard sounds, you would ideally need a mixer to connect your mpc and your keyboard to then have the mixer output play to the input of your pc soundcard, that way you can record it all with the internal suggestion made in point 1.

3. email, i suggest converting the finished WAV as a mp3. before u send. WAV files are big compared to mp3 (Read up on the different formats like Aff, WAV, mp3, wma etc)

I suggest reading as much as you can on there. and also posting such questions in the newbie section, this will prevent you from being aggressively dealt with by people such as my self and others who find these questions rather .......... welcome to the mpc forums have a nice stay..

to record on the pc, i recommend audacity.
it's simple, and best of all, it's free (open source).

and it can also convert your WAV to ogg, which is similar to the mp3 format, but has a slightly better algorithm, specially at high compression ratio.

don't forget to choose "line in" in the record menu.
(beware of the mic input which will record, but you will get a nasty distorted sound)

On the MPC1000, you cant specifically save under a wav five , you acan only save as, program, sequence, sequence and song, samples. SO whick one of them is considered a wav fileI took the flash card out of the MPC and put it in the computer and I see the SEQ. file ther but the problem is I guess gettiing a prgroam that will convert that info.

need to record again.
the sequences files will only be played by the mpc itself.

why are u so confused?

mpc 1000 only deals with WAV files.
choose save SOUNDS and save WAV.

even though it would take even less time than to just type out how. i'ts that simple, but i want to encourage literacy.

Maybe next time I'll buy my MPC from a store THAT HAS THE INSTRUCTIONS WITH IT, instead of second hand from a friend. If that answers your literacy question or not, only you will know right??

sarcasm or serious, makes no difference, help was given, the lack of no manual is no excuse, for tis can easily obtained from the akai webste.

quick quesion on bouncing a sequence to a new WAV file by using RECORD mode to record the MAIN OUT. this would be very limited without the RAM upgrade, no? you only get about 1 1/2 min of stereo sample time with the 16 MB, right? also, is there any way to maximize sample time without a RAM upgrade? (im poor right now).
