plus i dont' want and need the mpc i got a brand SPANKIN new one for $650..plus i got a zoom st-224..


what do YOU all think? i mainly want it for that alesis micron...

at this point in my UNeducated ass state in rgards to beat makin knowledge I don't know wud i'd need it for..much less how to use it..but this deal seems pretty good to pass up..

i even looked it all up on today's modern day street guide(for all you jackers!) ebay..n its a steal..ebay overprices n all..

If you beat making depending on what you want to do I would say you all on that list except the mic stand and pop filter.

You say you have an mp so you dont need that either. Also to keep you beats soundin official I would recommend a keyboard.

BUT- Its best to research what it is EXACTY that you wanna do. Don't invest in equipment you dont know how to use. Especially because its a good deal.

Post what direction your trying to go in and your strengths and weaknesses with diff types of gear. Maybe I and others from this forum can point you in the right direction.

all that for 15hun. thats a deal. i think that would be perfect for anybody to start out with. you can use the micron for basslines, extra shit to add to a beat. the micron is a synth. i have the micro korg and i ues it wit the xl. i hear that the micron is better but i havent had my hands on one to kno.
if u was to buy it all to re sell you would make out aight. take the 1000 and trade it for a bigger keyboard or some kind of multitrack. good mike plus tube amp. why not keep the filter and the mike stand? thatz needed for the mic n sh!t. all that sh!t is a steal if you dont already own somthing similiar. only thing missin iz something to record to.

so you thik that that mic would be a good one for home recording? hip hop vocals? i got access to a zoom 1266.... what woudl the tube pre amp be for? since once i got a zoom... plus the eurorack rigth? what would the need be for that tube pre amp?

well, the only sounds i see on that list would come from that alesis micron. you want to produce hiphop, i think you'd need something other then just the micron. just my opinion....i would look into some other sound modules unless you plan on doing a lot of sampling. but the mpc should take care of that

Well if you feel u can make use of all them then its a good thing to have and the mic is quite decent plus, when your making beats you'll probably eventually want to record stuff so its cool... But if its not stuff youll use you could probably pick up some real cool shit for that money...

the mic is perfect for home recording. a tube amp is better than a regular mic amp. you get a better sound (more colorful, brighter sound) from a tube amp. as far as the micron im sure itll do the job once you learn how to use it. ive got a synth with an mpc and it works out fine. anything else is up to you.

see the thing is well put it like this got a reciever and home speakers..got zoom dig. 12 track recorder and it has phantom power.. right now..using the shure sm 58 for vocals.. so really its a good deal huH? i mean can probably get everything for $575-$600 minus the MPC...have one alread..so really if I went for this... all i'm reallly doing is upgradin my current sound system to studio quality aka my pioneer reciever v/s the eurorack, my zoom wit phatom power v/s the tube pre amp, my shure 58 v/s the audio technica at3035, my dj-x v/s the micron..

so i'm lookin at it like i'm moddin my car, u know the AEM cold air fitler v/s the stock intake filter,

do yall agree? i mean i really do got all that stuff as it is.. jus not that quality and caliber...

i guess wud i'm askin is DO yall think its worth shelllin out $600 to UPGRADE my current gear? aka would yall REALLY do it?

or based on my setup save my a$$ $600 n drop it on WHAT else?

do some homework on how much that sh!ts worth new or used then figure out the math. phantom power is coo but a tube amp is better (justa personal opinon)even if you dont wanna use the mixer you can use the condenser mic and the tube amp wit ya zoom. and i doubt if you can find a tube amp and a condenser for less than $200. the micron is 400 brand new. i not hip to what kind of monitors those are but they dont come cheap either and home speakers arent what you wanna use for mixing purpose. and again if you choose not to use the mixer you can use the monitors for ya zoom. any way you choose it sound like a go getta. if anything that dude sellin all that is phukkin himself for a price like that.
