cool layering trick ( i think at least)

i got my bass pgm, mapped out in the mpc, and i play that by keyboard, i will have that on say track four, pgm drum4. i will then copy that track to say trk5, then assign midi on that track, and have it play my 950 sampler usually it will be the sine wave pgm or another bass sound, the output of the sampler then goes in on a different channel on my mixing desk, and i just bring up the fader and mix it with the output of my mpc, while adjusting eq, and compressing at the same time. if you wave no means of using some midi, device then use a sine one octave lower, on the bass. adjust the filters, and u could use it on kicks. careful though sines tend to hurt the ears after long exposure.
